Legal aspects of the job entry in Germany

In this online lecture, Ms. Glinka - a lawyer specialized on immigration law, will inform international (non-EU) students about legal aspects of working in Germany. The event is aimed at students from non-EU countries who have a residence permit to study.

The event will be held in English.

  • Duration of studies according to the Aliens Act
  • Change of your residence permit before completion of studies (transition to gainful employment with simultaneous continuation of studies or discontinuation of studies)
  • Residence permit for the purpose of job search after successful completion of studies
  • Residence permit for employment
  • EU Blue Card
  • Permanent residence permit
  • German passport


At the end you will get plenty of time to ask your individual questions.
