We warmly invite you to our International Picnic Series taking place during this year’s summer months of July, August and September on the beautiful Freundschaftsinsel Potsdam.
These events are open to everyone who would like to meet fellow students, PhD students and researchers, connect across different fields of study, and spend some enjoyable time together during the summer break.
We are excited to see you!
The picnics will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday, 10 July 2025 (Welcome Edition)
- Thursday, 7 August 2025 (Career Entry Edition)
- Thursday, 4 September 2025 (Learning German Edition)
Each picnic begins at 17:00 h. Meeting point: Freundschaftsinsel Potsdam on the meadow next to the Insel-Café.
The events are organized by the International Office, the Welcome Center and the Career Service of Potsdam University. We will provide some games and blankets, but we kindly ask you to bring your own food and drinks. You can also get something to eat or drink at the Inselcafé on the island.
