Networking for everyone

When you think of networking, do you think of fraternities and old boys' country clubs?

While social background and socio-economic advantages undoubtedly play a role in shaping professional biographies, we would like to offer you a different approach to networking. Used strategically and with an awareness of your own aspirations and goals, a well-maintained network can help you realise your career aspirations, boost your self-confidence and constantly reposition yourself on the job market.

But how do you build such a network without the appropriate relationships in your family environment?

In this workshop we would like to show you how to make networking opportunities visible and how to use the resources available to you. In addition, we would like to support you in formulating goals and career aspirations and communicating them to others.

This workshop is offered as part of the Career Week 2025 and is open to students from all participating universities in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Please note: If you are enrolled at one of the other Berlin and Brandenburg universities participating in the Career Week, please still enter ‘Student of the University of Potsdam’ and your normal matriculation number when registering. The registration procedure for the Career Week programmes has been extended in this way. If you have any questions, please contact us!
